  • Fly Fishing Tuition & Courses

Bob Smith Fly Fishing Tuition and Courses run across the North East and Scottish Borders catering for all levels and abilities.  The aim is to give guests an experience that will improve their fly fishing and increase their chances of catching trout.

Bob specialises in using single handed fly fishing rods and working with newcomers to the sport. Anyone visiting Northumberland and the Borders and wants to fly fish, but does not know the area well, should contact Bob who can offer tuition or guiding on a variety of rivers and still waters.

All prices will include fishing permits for both river and still water venues, fishing tackle if required and tuition. Both lessons and courses are for 1 to a maximum of 3 people. Larger numbers such as corporate events can be catered for by prior arrangement.

Prices will vary depending on the time of year, preferred venue and number of guests. Please contact Bob for further details.

Persons of twelve years or over will need to purchase an Environment Agency Rod Licence before fishing on rivers or still waters in England. (Exceptions are Chatton Trout Fishery and the River Till, both of which are classed as Scottish waters).
